Court Visit : 20th June : House of Lords

A visit to the House of Lords in the Palace of Westminster is planned for 20th June. OULS members are again reminded to contact the Events Coordinator if they are interested in attending this event.  Some places are still available.

Court Visit : 26th June : Royal Courts of Justice

A visit to the Royal Courts of Justice in London will be scheduled shortly. OULS members are reminded to contact the Events Coordinator if they are interested in attending this event. Details to be confirmed.  This visit is fully booked.

Mooting : June : Mooting Semi Finals

The first round in the internal mooting competition is now complete. We have four teams moving on to the Semi-finals which will be held in June. I will be contacting the winners shortly with the mooting question and details of the moot.

Mooting : 29th July: OULS Mooting Final

The mooting final will be held in Milton Keynes on the 29th of July. If you would like to watch what I am sure will be a very exciting performance, please email me. I am limiting the numbers of this event to 15 spectators (exclusive of mooters and their guests).

    We are waiting to finalise the mooting programme for the year, but once it is verified we shall publish a copy of the timetable on the website.

    Law Fairs : 2006/7
    Whether just beginning a law degree or just finishing, attending a law fair can help aid you in your decisions about a legal career and in gaining contacts in the legal world. Law fairs are set around the country at universities; anyone interested may attend. Most law fairs are held in the autumn. Click here for a list of law fairs.
