OUSA Student Volunteer Focus Groups

Are you a current Volunteer? If the answer is yes, you’re invited to OUSA Student Volunteer Focus Groups!

As a valued volunteers, you are encourage you to take part in a Volunteering Research Project and share your views through these focus groups. The discussion will be about your personal experiences of volunteering with the Students Association, so read on and let us know if you would like to be part of this exciting project.

Each focus group will last for up to 2 hours and will be a mix of activities and discussions. By coming along to the focus groups, you will also get the chance to see your campus and meet other Students Association volunteers. Focus groups will be held in Milton Keynes between 13:00-16:00 and the dates available are as follows:

  • Friday 8 December, 2017
  • Monday 11 December, 2017
  • Friday 12 January, 2018
  • Friday 19 January, 2018

Online events are all full so thank you to everyone who responded!

Travel expenses for those attending the face-to-face focus groups will be reimbursed after the event by the OUSA, with up to £75 maximum to be claimed back for each participant (if you feel that it may cost more for you to attend, please contact the OUSA as they may be able to make exceptions).

To ensure as many volunteers as possible are heard, individual volunteers will only be able to attend one focus group of their choice.

Interested in coming along? Drop an email to Student-Voice-Team@open.ac.uk, indicating which of the dates would work best for you. The deadline for your expressions of interest is Thursday 30 November 2017.
