OUSA Societies Week: Your opportunity to learn about the OU Law Society

Meet Your Student Law Society

The Open University Students Association is holding a week long event to bring into the limelight the numerous student societies open to OU students.

The event runs from the 2nd to 9th October and will see OU student societies organising face-to-face events up and down the country. It is the perfect opportunity to meet and greet society officers, students and tutors.

the OU Law Society will be holding its own meeting for Societies Week in East Grinstead in West Sussex. The event will take place at the Trinity Methodist Church and will include a short presentation followed by a social meeting in one of East Grinstead’s beautiful pubs.

The presentation will cover various aspects of the OULS, such as:

–        Introductions: who we are and what we doOULS Logo

–        Mooting competitions

–        Social events

–        Charity events

–        Pro-bono opportunities

–        Careers support

We’ll also be consulting students on what they want to gain from the OULS and how we can better support our members throughout their studies and beyond.

If you would like to attend, please email fathi.tarada@ouls.org.
